Top 10: Greatest Atletes Of All-Time



In sports, there are great players, that play the game likes its their life, they wear the game on their face every time they compete, making them the greatest athletes of all-time.


Michael Phelps- Every 4 years the olympics come around, an there is only one olympic athlete that's on every one's mind, an that is the "Baltimore Bullet", last year is the the prime reason why he's at number one on my list, he showed the world what is possible from the world of swimming by getting a unprecedented 8 gold medals, beating the previous record of 7 set by another great swimmer in Mark Spitz. Phelps is the greatest swimmer and olypian of all-time.


Tiger Woods- With the most pretigious events in golf, there is only one athlete that stands above them all, an that is Tiger, he is one of the reason's why golf is a major sport in the United States, Tiger has won multiple major championships, making him one of the greatest golfer's to play the game of golf.




Cal Ripken Jr.- When it come's to America's pastime, there is one man that resembles that, an that is the "Iron Man" himself, he played the game the way it should be played, he never missed a day of work, no matter if he was injured or just didn't feel well, he would suck it up an go out an play the game he was born to play. Ripken is the greatest athlete on and off the baseball diamond.




Michael Jordan- When it come down to the slogan "everyone wants to be like mike", it surely is true, by the way this man play's the game of basketball, one of the most passionate athletes of all-time, he took the court againist some of the greatest basketball players, an over come them all, making Jordan the greatest athlete in hardwood history.




Wayne Gretzky- When it comes to the game of hockey, the "Great One" is surely the answer, he changed the face of hockey, with he skill, speed and he's unreal ability of scoring goals. Gretzky, the most unsensational hockey atlete of all-time.




Muhammad Ali- Everytime you think of boxing, you think of the most greatest of them all, Muhammed Ali, his fighting style was like no other, he would wear you out till you can't go any more then he go in for the knockout, his fighting style resembles the great words of his, "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee", Ali, one of the greatest boxer's of his time and generation.




Johnny Unitas- He takes the field every sunday, an show's his ability of throwing touchdowns and helping his team to victory, Unitas has the most fluid arm in the game of football, showing he resembles the great nickname the "Golden Arm", Unitas is one of the greatest quarterback's of all-time.




Lance Armstrong- When you think of riding a bike you dont think about your first bike ride, you think of the most intense cyclist in the world of sports in Lance Armstrong, he overcame cancer an still had the ability to be at the top of his sport, Armstrong show's why he is the greatest cyclist ever time he rides his bike.




Roger Federer- With Roger Federer the most competitive athlete in tennis history, he makes it exciting to watch tennis, with the way he moves up and down the court and the intensity he play's with, making him the greatest athlete to hold a racket and play the sport of tennis.




Usian Bolt- With the title of fastest man on earth, you know that he ranks in the top ten of greatest athletes of all-time, he is the prime reason that it is fun watching track, the most recent sign of greatness was when he broke 3 world records, making him the greatest runner in track and the world of sports.
